One of the features that I have not used here at zaadz is the "Goals" list. It's not that I don't have goals, it's just that they are very fluid and dynamic.
Today, Buster McLeod (aka Erik Benson) published a very enlightening entry at Lifehacker on How to choose achievable goals. Buster/Erik is one of the guys responsible for the sites 43 Things, 43 Places and 43 People.
A couple of points that resonated with me: making achievable goals shouldn't feel like buying art, and making achievable goals shouldn't feel like balancing a checkbook. He then goes on to list his four tips for creating achievable goals:
1) Entertain a mix of ambitious and silly goals.
2) Make a good number of goals... but not too many.
3) Review your list weekly.
4) Talk to friends about your goals.
